Ocean Key Resort & Spa is a boutique luxury oceanfront resort at Zero Duval Street, where the Gulf of Mexico meets the Atlantic beside Mallory Square in Old Town Key West. It was ranked the #1 Best Key West Resort by U.S. News & World Report in 2025 and named Best High-End Hotel in Key West by Forbes Vetted the same year, and it is on the U.S. News Best Hotels in the USA list for 2026. The resort is a member of the Curator Hotel & Resort Collection, with an edgeless oceanfront pool reserved for guests at LIQUID and two waterfront restaurants on site, Hot Tin Roof and Sunset Pier. From the front door you can walk Duval Street’s galleries, restaurants, and nightlife.
Yes. Every guest room and suite at Ocean Key has a private furnished balcony, along with an in-room mini bar refreshed daily and a sleek stone bathroom. Views run from OldcTown Key West and the harbor over Duval Street or Mallory Square through to direct oceanfront views of the Gulf of Mexico. Deluxe Oceanfront rooms, Oceanview Boutique Suites and Oceanfront One Bedroom Suites add a spa tub. The Harborview Two Bedroom Suite is about 1,200 square feet with two bathrooms and is the best option for a larger party, since the resort does not offer connecting rooms or rooms with two double beds.
The resort is eco-certified and takes part in coral restoration partnerships in the Florida Keys. It also holds Green Key Global certification and a Florida Green Lodging designation at the Two Palm level. The Zero Duval location does some of this work on its own: with Duval Street, Mallory Square, the galleries and the museums all reachable on foot, most guests never start a car during a stay, and the concierge arranges bicycles, pedi-cabs and electric cars for anything further out. Beach towels for off-site use are included in the daily resort fee.
